MANUEL TORRES DESIGN Presents in LIMA-PERÚ the PIURA collection designed for HELVEX
After the success obtained in Mexico and Colombia, MANUEL TORRES DESIGN and HELVEX are on the International Tour. Soon we will see you in Lima – PERU on Tuesday, June 23 at 8:00 pm in a cocktail that will take place at the Westin Hotel, and on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:00 pm in a Specialized Conference within the framework of EXPODECO 2015, at the Convention Center Corp. E. Wong, where Manuel Torres Acemel, will explain the whole creative process of PIURA Collection, from the latest Inspirational Trends in Biofília and Biomímesis to the SIDIB Method – Integral System of Design Inspired by Biomimicry.
The III International Exhibition of Design, Decoration and Architecture, EXPODECO 2015 is the meeting point for designers, architects, decorators and art lovers in Lima. This third edition will be held in the district of La Molina, a location that will allow the exhibition to be held in the format of the most internationally recognized decoration fairs. The Convention Center Corporation E. Wong will be the headquarters of EXPODECO 2015, an event that will have a space of 6,500 m2, in which the most prominent architects, designers and prestigious firms of the sector will participate; who will meet to interact with the user and target audience to provide hundreds of possibilities, in addition to generating large businesses and closing commercial proposals.
The next destinations of the PIURA Collection International Tour will be Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the Arab Emirates, Santiago de Chile in South America and finally New York in the USA.
An event will be held in each country where the designer of the MANUEL TORRES DESIGN International Study, Manuel Torres Acemel, will explain the whole PIURA Collection creative process, from the latest inspirational trends in Biofília and Biomimicry to the SIDIB® Method – Integral System of Inspired Design in Biomimicry.
MANUEL TORRES DESIGN has developed the SIDIB® Method – Integral Design System Inspired by Biomimicry. The result of an investigation of trends and inspiration in Biomimicry as a science that studies nature and new innovative technologies to solve those human problems that nature has solved, has been the vectora of the creative process and with the purpose of creating emotions by granting a timeless and imperishable character in their designs common in many elements of nature of perennial character.
Biophilia, is translated as the innate connection of the human being with nature. The designs that are based on the concept of biophilia seek to reconnect people with nature, integrating it in buildings. They look for designs that allow to have fresh air, natural light and water. The Piura Collection was born from the SIDIB® Method, a clean, pure, natural and organic collection that moves away from conventionalism to approach a sculptural work in the service of hygiene, which brings an intense aesthetic torrent to the simplest of washbasins granting sensory pleasure and ecological values. Edges and corners have been removed where dirt could easily accumulate resulting in an aseptic and neat design that transmits tranquility, calm, confidence, order.
