MANUEL TORRES DESIGN presents in Bogotá-Colombia the PIURA Collection designed for HELVEX

After the success obtained in Mexico. MANUEL TORRES DESIGN and HELVEX begin an International Tour with a starting point in Bogotá – Colombia this May 20 at 7:00 pm in a cocktail that will take place in the Hotel Insignia within the framework of Expoconstruction and Expo design 2015 on the occasion of the promotion of PIURA Collection. The next destinations will be Lima in Peru, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE and finally to New York in the USA.

Expoconstruction & Expo design 2015 is the largest stage that promotes the development and growth of the Construction, Architecture, Infrastructure and Design sectors in the Pacific Arc Region, Central America and the Caribbean. The fair will have more than 20 thousand square meters in exhibition area, about 520 exhibitors, plans to receive 60,000 thousand visitors and expects more than 1500 buyers.

An event will be held in each country where the founder and designer of the MANUEL TORRES DESIGN International Study, Manuel Torres Acemel, will explain the entire PIURA Collection creative process, from the latest inspirational trends in Biofília and Biomímesis until the SIDIB Method – Integral Design System Inspired by Biomímesis

The SIDIB Method seeks to free the form and eliminate all the superfluous to give way to a simple piece and captivating forms. The inspiration in Biomímesis as a science that studies nature and new innovative technologies to solve those human problems with the purpose of creating emotions. Beauty in the minimum expression, the emulation of nature as an inexhaustible source of future designs, where the organic dynamism of water pushes the limits of design.

From SIDIB method is born Piura Collection, a clean, pure, natural and organic collection that moves away from conventionalism to approach a sculptural work at the service of hygiene, which brings an intense aesthetic torrent to the simplest of toilets giving sensory pleasure and ecological values.
