MANUEL TORRES DESIGN, after the success of the initial project in 2010 and the constant growth of DIMSPORT, now carries out the project of expansion of its corporate offices in Barcelona – International Group of Italian origin HOLDIM SRL-, specifically in the neighborhood of Sarrià. The objective of the design continues to be the tie between the formal language of the project with the identity of the brand and the values ​​of technology at the service of ecology, creating a coherent and calm atmosphere in which to work comfortably in all its areas.

The design concept seeks to generate visual amplitude, for this a continuous space has been created throughout its 240 m2 divided into 2 levels in which the different pieces of furniture and colored translucent glass partitions visually connect the areas and take care of distribute the different environments. The space has been given meaning by completely equipping each of the areas efficiently, in order to create a work space in line with the innovations and latest trends in the office design sector, such as the design of spaces Open Space, creating more open and spacious spaces, the Natural lighting, making the most of its potential, or the Chromotherapy, using neutral colors contrasted with elements that add color to the space.

The architectural program is fully functional and is distributed between its two levels. On the ground floor, the reception area, operational work areas, the archive and services are located. On the upper floor there are the waiting room, the management office, two meeting rooms, toilets, the office and a technical area.

The furniture of inclined lines has been designed to measure for the space, taking the concept of speed and dynamism to represent the essence of the company DIMSPORT. The chromatic palette of said furniture unites the two corporate concepts. On the one hand, Red, used in graphic identity, represents the automotive world, passion, speed, strength and desire; On the other hand, red is complemented by green, the color of the ecology, of the environment, which refers to the other line of business of the company with ECOMOTIVE SOLUTIONS and reflects technology at the service of ecology. The materials used are also sustainable and reflect the identity of the brand and in turn bring homogeneity and coherence to the different environments, directly affecting the sense of continuity that is breathed.

The unifying element of both levels has been the pavement, being this one of wood aspect and that harmonizes with the glazed partitions that articulate the distribution of the plants. Providing lightness and at the same time the privacy that this type of intervention requires, but always allowing the maximum use of natural light and an open space of fluid circulation together with furniture of exclusive design and made to measure for the project. This consists of a suggestive design of inclined planes, alluding to the world of speed and the ascending success of the signature DIMSPORT.

The aim of the Study has been to create a space with identity and reflect the leading values ​​of the brand in the design of the exterior and interior space, thus breathing innovation and the latest technological advances; offering solutions that respond to spatial optimization, performance, comfort, security and the projection of the corporate image of the firm.
